This selection focuses on various women I have photographed to appear in my books over the years. These portraits allow me to focus on confronting female stereotypes. Femme Fatale, vamp, bimbo, bitch goddess, Lolita, whore -- what power do these words hold over women's self image?

These women own their sexual power and are not afraid to show it. Some of the women pictured here are professional actors, others are models, still others are performance artists. I leave it to you to figure out who is who.
